One of the things I love about being a wedding photographer is that each wedding is different. Every couple that hires me to photograph their wedding has different tastes, interests, and ideas for their dream wedding. My job is to capture these things that make each couple unique and I love it. Joe and Heather are warm and fun loving and it was a blast getting to know all the little things that define them and their fantastic relationship .
Over the summer I have really come to know these two and how terrific their relationship is. Okay, I admit that I may have tricked them into standing in the direct path of the sprinkler system at UW during their engagement session but the fun they had with that let me know that their wedding was sure to be joyous. I mean you really find out in that situation who a couple is through and through. Joe and Heather are friends you can count on. Their families love them of course as do I. And when they have fun together life is magical.
When a couple decide they want me to be their wedding photographer, in a way, I become their storyteller. In a previous blog , I began telling their own unique story with their engagement session. And now I get to continue telling Heather and Joe’s story with their wedding!
Celebrating Memories Forever
The Ivinson Mansion in Laramie is a very charming place full of Laramie’s history and the wild west. The beautiful grounds that surround the mansion and its reception venue the Alice Hardy Stevens Center have made it a favorite wedding venue.
No one could’ve asked for a more perfect day. Blue sky, white, fluffy clouds, bright sunshine, and NO rain (yay!). Heather and Joe’s wedding was full of fun, laughter and love for each other, surrounded by family and close friends who came to join the celebration. Heather and Joe are an amazing couple full of love, hope, and fun, ready to take on the world. I am so happy that they chose me to capture some of the best memories they’ll ever have.
