Nicole and Richard’s Wedding

A Romantic Wedding in Cheyenne, Wyoming

I know that I don’t have to tell anyone here that weddings are special. They’re full of so much joy and love. That’s one of the reason’s why I love being a wedding photographer so much! Only I think Nicole and Rick’s wedding was a little bit more special. Nicole and Rick are an amazing couple. Since I have known them, they have overcome so much, including the death of a child months before their wedding. But out of the ashes they arose and came out stronger.

I fell in love with Nicole and Rick the minute I met with them for the first time. Having professional wedding pictures was important to them. They didn’t want digital photos that are on a thumb drive, they wanted REAL photographs that are printed. If you know me, you know that I am passionate about printed photographs. To have something that you can touch, feel, and hold, is so much more valuable than a picture on a computer screen. But I didn’t fall in love with them because they wanted their wedding photographs printed. They’re love for each other, their twin boys, Roger and Zander, and their adventurous, independent spirit were contagious.

A Warm Wyoming Wedding

Nicole and Rick had a beautiful wedding. They exchanged their vows in the beautiful St. Mary’s Cathedral (my favorite church to photograph) in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It was a perfect July day in Wyoming, with lots of sunshine and blue skies (and no rain!!). Many happy tears were shed as these two became husband and wife. The reception took us to Laramie in the Horse Barn Theater at the Territorial Prison. Full laughter, food, and music, everyone tore up the dance floor. There was never a dull moment.

Thank you, Nicole and Rick for letting me capture this incredible day for you! Together you orchestrated an event to demonstrate your love and commitment to each other… and it was beyond beautiful to witness! I can’t wait to see what the future has for you.
