A Rustic Ranch Bridal
Ashleigh’s Rustic Ranch Bridal Session
Ludwig Photography | Laramie, Wyoming | Northern Colorado
Bridals are always a good excuse for me to roam around the countryside. Ashleigh is a country girl through and through. A lover of the outdoors and horses, Ashleigh and I both knew that a studio session wouldn’t fit her and her personality at all. I knew of the perfect spot that would bring out that smile and twinkle in her eye. So, we loaded Ashleigh’s dress in my Jeep, and headed for my ranch in Northern Colorado. It lays in the shadow of Rocky Mountain National Park and I love taking brides there. A morning spent in the outdoors photographing a gorgeous bride is one of the many joys I have.
It was a beautiful day to be out. The sun was shining and the birds were chirping. There was a gentle breeze blowing rather than the typical Colorado wind that blows off the mountains. This was a blessing as Ashleigh had a beautiful long veil that blew gently in the breeze. Even Darby, my horse wanted in on all the fun and modeled with Ashleigh. The bouquet was from the Wild Rose in Laramie and looked gorgeous. Her dress that added to the rugged beauty was a designed by Watters which she got from anna bé Bridal Boutique in Denver.
It was a day full of perfection and happiness and it made me even MORE excited for their wedding (pst, if you want to see their wedding, check it out here). With every bride I do a Bridal session for, I give them a leather album and a portrait to give to their soon to be hubby. I have seen countless grooms either tear up or grin from ear to ear when they see the picture of their bride.
