As a Wyoming native, I have had the joy of photographing countless engagements of couples who are hopelessly in love with each other in all seasons. Throughout the years I have found that nothing can warm the heart like romantic, snow filled engagement pictures.
Living in Wyoming, whether you’re in town or in the mountains, means snow!! To many, snow means curling up in either your favorite blanket or hoodie with a hot drink and watching your favorite romcom for the hundredth (or is it thousandth?) time. Or maybe it means going out and playing in the white stuff; skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling. But what makes it better is doing all this with someone you love.
I had fun with Jessica and Ethan on the snowy day we did their engagement photos. A morning full of hot chocolate, football, and laughter with these two high school sweethearts was a dream. Wanting to show off their Poke Pride, we went to War Memorial stadium at the University of Wyoming. Both spent time at many, many football games throughout their college careers as band members.
Throughout the day, they relived many happy memories. From the day Ethan popped the question to old gifts that will always be special. Having each other to keep warm, not even a snowy and cold day on the wind swept prairie can cool off their love.
